DESCRIPTION
Rimbaud had finished writing by the age of twenty. A Season in Hell, the Illuminations, the letters demanding a systematic derangement of the senses — all of it done before most poets begin. Then he stopped completely, walked away from literature, and spent his remaining years in Aden and Abyssinia trading coffee and guns.
The affair with Verlaine ended with a revolver in Brussels. He died in Marseille at 37, apparently indifferent to the fact that Paris had started calling him a genius.
Printed to order in holographic silk PLA, 15 cm tall. The iridescence shifts with light and viewing angle, and no two pieces come out identical — filament variation and the printing process itself see to that. Made in France, dispatched in 2-5 business days.
The image shown is a digital visualization of the artwork; a 360° view of an actual printed sculpture is available on the site. An original artistic interpretation by designer and visual artist Antonio de Santos, not affiliated with or endorsed by the subject or their estate.
